By Road

By Rail

By Air
You will probably fly into London GATWICK or London HEATHROW (approximately 120 miles from the Centre.)
On arrival at Gatwick or Heathrow Airport, one way to get to the Centre would be via British Rail.
From Gatwick you could get a train to Reading, and then change to another train for Castle Cary. From Heathrow you could get the Railair Link (a fast, efficient bus service, run by BR) to Reading General train station, and from there get a train to Castle Cary. Other rail options are to come to Sherborne Station, which is on the London, Waterloo line, with sometimes more frequent services.
